Christa graduated from Nicholas County High School in 2007. During her time there, she found an interest in weightlifting and running short distance. She furthered her education in Exercise Physiology at WVU. After graduation, she worked for 1 year in a physical therapy clinic as a tech assisting in the care of patients. She knew she wanted to continue learning about the human body and movement and moved to Cross Lanes, WV in 2012 to work as a personal trainer.
While there, she managed the PEIA Weight Management Program and assisted adults of all ages and levels in reaching their health and wellness goals. Christa returned to school at Marshall University in 2014 when she began the DPT program. Her clinical experiences while in school included Skilled Nursing Facility, Long Term Acute Care, and 2 separate Outpatient settings. The last was the most memorable as she found a passion for working with Parkinson’s patients. This lead to becoming certified in LSVT BIG Therapy in 2018. Christa enjoys working with adults of all ages and is currently honing her skills in Dry Needling. She feels it is a very effective tool to add to her list of services in assisting the healing process.
Christa is married to her Husband, Matt, of 12 years. They have 3 children: Gianna, Brody, and Tyson and their Pitbull, Charlie. They reside in Fayetteville, WV and Christa serves Nicholas, Fayette, and Raleigh Counties.
